Darjeeling Himalayan Railway known as DHR or toy train is a 610 mm gauge which runs between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling. The train is 51 miles long and through its course starts from 328 feet above sea level to 7,218 feet at Darjeeling. The train runs at a steady pace using zig zags and five loops to gain altitude.
